In 1985, today’s UPLAND ski school was founded by the ski school director, Brigitte Bruchhäuser née Weiler, in Willingen am Ettelsberg at what was then the chairlift and today’s Wilddieb / Dorfwiese ski area. In 2004, the UPLAND ski school opened its own ski and snowboard rental shop.
